Shoot! We’re unable to schedule a consult at this time.
We aim to support therapists at every stage of their journey. We offer free 1:1 consults for therapists with established practices who are interested in learning more about Heard’s software and services. If you're a current Heard member, please reach out to our support team via Conversations.
Based on the information you provided, we’re unable to schedule a consult because:
`1. It’s not the right time
2. Heard is not a good fit for your practice
When is the right time to schedule a consult?
If you're not yet seeing clients or early in your practice journey, we recommend you join a free informational session offered every Friday at 9 AM PST. Click here to register.
Why is Heard not a good fit for my practice?
We use the information you provided to ensure our services and software are the right match for you in supporting your accounting and tax needs. Unfortunately, there are some limitations.
Your practice is based outside the United States.
We pride ourselves in knowing the ins and outs of U.S. tax law for therapists. With that said, each country has its own unique tax implications and we currently do not have international tax specialists on our team. Due to this, we are unable to support international-based practices, including Canada. We recommend working with a CPA who has experience with international tax law.
Your practice is taxed as a C corporation.
C corporation (C corp) practices require different tax filings and have other tax obligations that Heard’s software and team cannot successfully support at this time. We recommend working with an accountant who is familiar with the required federal and state filings for C corps.
Your practice has multiple owners.
When a practice has multiple owners, it requires two different tax profiles, tax estimates, and tax returns. Due to current software limitations, we are unable to have all this information tied to one profile. We are working hard to expand our software and services to multi-member organizations. A local CPA who is likely more hands-on with planning, budgeting, and forecasting might be a better fit for your practice.
