If you've heard that an S corp could save you thousands in taxes, you've probably also heard that it isn't right for everyone. Both are true. What most therapists don't hear is that the decision has a clock on it. To operate as an S corp for all of 2027, the groundwork has to happen before the year starts, and once January passes, the cleanest window closes.

In this webinar, Heard's tax team walks through how the S corp election works for a private practice, including the income level where the savings start to outweigh the added cost and paperwork, what changes about how you pay yourself, and what you need in place first (an LLC or other entity, a payroll setup, a separate business bank account).

We'll also cover the timeline: what to do in October, November, and December so you're ready on January 1, and what happens if you elect later in the year instead.

You'll leave knowing whether an S corp makes sense for your practice in 2027, what it would cost you to run one, and exactly what to do next. If the answer is "not yet," you'll know that too, and why.

Bring your questions. We'll have time for live Q&A at the end.
